How to make healthy chocolate in 5 mins

I was hanging out with my friend Jon Gabriel recently in Australia (I know, so much fun!). As he was picking up some supplies at the store, I asked him to bring back some chocolate for me.

He came back empty handed and said, “I can’t let you eat store-bought chocolate, I’ll make some for you instead.”

“Okaaaay…” I said, expecting to have to play nice and choke it down… BUT to my amazement homemade chocolate is totally delicious and so I convinced Jon to show you how to make it too!

Thanksgiving is around the corner and I know that many women freak out about their weight and diet at the prospect of all that tempting holiday food…

So, here’s my holiday gift to you: Learn how to make yummy chocolate at home that’s packed with loads of nutritious vitamins and minerals.

Here’s the video and the recipe.

Number of servings: 15-20

Serving size 1 tablespoon

Ingredients:

50 grams of raw organic coco butter

1-2 tablespoons of raw organic cacao (depending on desired richness of chocolate taste)

1-2 tbls of raw coconut palm sugar (depending on desired sweetness)

2 tbs chopped raw organic nuts (better if activated aka sprouted)

½ tsp Himalayan salt crystals or sea salt

½ tsp chili powder

1/4-1/2 tsp nutmeg powder

I tsp vanilla extract.

Melt the coco butter on medium heat till liquid, then take it off the heat, put in it a mixing bowl and let it cool for a few minutes, but not too long that it starts to harden.

Add all the other ingredients and mix up.

Spoon into molds

Freeze for 10-20 minutes and serve

Happy, Healthy Thanksgiving! :-)

Hugs,
